The OSK4TK weld head is a combination of the OSK53S enclosed gas cooled weld head and the 4TK kit; comprising electrode holder, nose ring and pneumatic mandrel actuating assembly. Providing a cost effective option where tube to tube sheet fusion welded joints are required along side tube to tube butt welding capability.
This method of producing autogenous tube to tubesheet joints provides a high quality, very clean weld and is particularly suited to Titanium applications because the entire weld circumference is contained within a fully inert environment during welding.
This head can be used for tube diameters from 15.0mm to 50.0mm ID, a mandrel assembly is required to complete the package.
